this privacy policy explains how samuel rapeport, trading as bodywork by samuel (ABN available on request), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. it applies to this website and any bookings made through it.

i take your privacy seriously and handle your information with care and discretion.

what information i collect

i may collect the following information:

via the contact form: your name, email address, and the content of your message.

via the booking system (Acuity Scheduling): your name, email address, phone number, pronouns, and health-related information you provide in the intake form (including any medical conditions, medications, or allergies relevant to your treatment).

why i collect it

your information is collected solely to provide you with bodywork services, respond to your enquiries, manage your bookings, and ensure your sessions are safe and appropriate for your needs.

i do not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. i do not sell, share, or rent your information to third parties.

where your information is stored

contact form submissions are processed by Formspree (formspree.io) and delivered to my Gmail inbox. Formspree stores form submissions on servers in the United States. you can review their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

booking information is stored by Acuity Scheduling (acuityscheduling.com), a US-based service. your health intake information is stored on their servers. you can review their privacy policy at acuityscheduling.com/privacy.php.

i also store client information in my own records (email and/or paper notes) for the purpose of providing ongoing care.

how long i keep your information

i retain client records for a minimum of 7 years as required by Australian health records legislation. you may request access to or deletion of your information at any time — see contact details below.

your rights

under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

— access the personal information i hold about you

— request correction of inaccurate information

— request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)

— make a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached

cookies and tracking

this website does not use tracking cookies or analytics software. no cookie consent is required. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may log your IP address — this is standard for web font delivery.
